I have been trying for days to install, and use this thing! I can not find the Icon anywhere.

I've had problems like this before...such a pain...

First see if when you plug the device in it either makes the recognizing sound, or at the bottom of the taskbar the "safe to remove" icon appears. Sometimes it helps if you do not have it plugged in when you first start your computer.
