Im looking to build a new computer in January. Im stuck on motherboards... It will be a gaming multimedia machine. I will probably overclock a little. Not looking for SLI. My planned build is:

SILVERSTONE TJ09-BW Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

EVGA 512-P3-N802-A1 GeForce 8800GT (or better if one comes out between now and Jan)

SILVERSTONE SST-ST75ZF ATX12V / EPS12V 750W Power Supply - Retail

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450

Memory ??? depends on motherboard i guess.

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD7500AAKS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model LH-20A1S - Retail

SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S203B - OEM

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card - Retail

Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler - Retail

G9 mouse

G15 keyboard

windows xp pro

The more I look at motherboards the more I get confused...
abit IP35 Pro?
GA-P35-DS4 Rev. 2.0?
P5K-E/WIFI-AP?
better mobo??
What do you guy suggest? 200 bucks and under.

those three you mentioned and there variants are probably the best P35 single GPU mobos around. If you dont need Wi-fi or OCing extremes drop the ASUS... just look at what board has what features and what you specifically need

Exactly what I was going to say. I'd go with something cheaper, like the DS3R, but I don't have extra $ to burn, so that is all that I'd do. The IP35 pro or the DS4 would be one that I'd get if I had your kind of $ to spend.
