When you say "For now" in your sig I assume you are going to OC.. You do actually plan on doing some reading first, right?

  3. Sure , read is what im doing since few week already :na: , im planning to OC mine for sure , using bios and headsink ... but nothing hardcore for the begin ...( max 3.0 ghz )

and i just found why my Multiplier going to 6 x ... saving energy is important !! :P:P:P
  4. Turn off intel's Speedstep BS in the BIOS and your CPU should stop changing on the fly....what are your temps by the way...could heat be sending it back to the 6 multi

Post back if you get stuck on the OC
