Alright im looking for recommendations on good overclocking ram. I want ddr2 800 either 2x1 gb or 2x2 gb. I want under 100 dollars, 4 gb would be nice but i want ram that will oc well. My previous corsair ddr2800 which i had up to 1006 mhz stable crapped out one stick and now all the new versions of the same corsair ram dont oc well at all.

Yea.. my 800 kit does 1066 easily at 5-5-5-15 2.1v.

I've had it at 1200 with the same timings at 2.3v for benching.. Was Super Pi 32M Stable.

It was like $40 when I got it for 2 GB.

The Trascend or Crucial Ballistix ($50 for 2 gigs on newegg)
Very good overclocker with Micron chips

I've got the Transcend Kit and the Ballistix PC2-8500.

I actually like the Transcend Kit more.

Too bad the P35C DS3R has issues with both of those ram :(

I use Patriot ram, seems solid.

I hate to be like this, but a 10% OC on RAM isn't much..

My Transcend DDR2-800 ran 1066 without a problem and would bench around 1200-1250. :ange:
