my current system :
XP64 and Vista64 in dual boot
AM2 6400+ black ed. (with rubbish noctua nu 19 heatsink)
Sapphire 3200 crossfire mobo
4gb ocz 6400 ddr2 mem (4x1gb) (with ocz`s twin fan cooler)
Ati HD2900xt gfx
aegis physx
3x sataII hd`s
1 sata 20x dvdrw
700w modular psu

the onboard gig network has given up even tho i only reset the pc and it died, luckily the 802 still works, ive done various benchmarks and compared to everyone elses mine is a lot slower than it should be, i`m guessing its the board, mainly because i got it while AM2 was still young and there wasnt much to choose from
if anyone can advise me on the best board to get the most out of the bits ive got i`d be much appreciative, i cant find any comparisons for AM2 boards that gives a best board list, theres plenty out for the Intel just not Amd.

ive seen the asus mentioned before, but no one has said if its worth the £130 asking price, i`ll pay it of course if its that good.
two of the scores i can remember from benchmarks are, CPC`s gave about 800, and nortons performance test gave 750, cant remem what 3dmark score was, ive gone from having the am2 5200 and ati 1950xtx, i up`d to an am2 6000 then to the 6400 black with a 2900hd, and theres no real difference in speed in games or benchmarks, it`ll play crysis demo at full bore at1600x but its like treacle, and its lagging behind against others on internet of similar power, even vista bias`d rating only puts the cpu at 5.4 the same as the hard drive score

cant really get another card in, i only have the Ati and bfg physx in but another card will block one of the others fans
