Troubleshooting rdp client connection problems

Hello,
I am having trouble with connecting to Windows XP Pro SP3 host using Remote Desktop. I can connect out on this machine to others, all services and dependencies appear to be running, but host will not connect.

have you enabled remote desktop in it & you have to set password for the user account which you are going to use in remote desktop

Hi,
RDP had been working on this PC. The user took a trip overseas and was able to remote in for the first 3 days. Then it would no longer connect. I tested locally (over the LAN from another station) Ping responds, but RDP will not connect. Also, another point, RDP will connect out FROM this PC but it will not connect in. But yes, it is turn on and passwords are in place.
