I am just about ready to build my new system. Just quickly ill be using:
E6750
IP35-E
CORSAIR TwinX 1gig x 2 (2 Gig) DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 800mhz Matched Pair
And the Corsair HX520W psu

Anyhow im recently very concerned about some potential problems:

1. The ip35-e is said to support RAM at 1.8 volts, while the RAM i have listed is said to run at 2.1V. Is this going to be a problem?

This http://www.abit.com.tw/test-report/ip35_ip35-e.htm?10 also only shows timings of 5.5.5.14 or higher, where as my Ram is in the 4's. Will this be a problem?
Would you consider getting the non C4 version of the memory, which runs at 1.9V and at 5.5.5.12 timings?

2. Ive heard here http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthre [...] a&t=129727 that the hx520 psus arnt good with this motherboard. Is this true and is there anything to worry about?

Thanks heaps, i would be very grateful if you could either confirm that ill be fine or better yet, stop me from wasting my money buying parts that wont work.

1. Just change the voltage in the Bios. Boot up with one stick only if necessary.
Timings, the lower the better. Just make sure you adjust them in the Bios.
2. The Corsair 520HX is a Tier 2 power supply. You should not have any problems with it. It should work with any motherboard, unless the user is at fault.

1. 1.8v is usually enough to power on for POST, but may not be stable enough for everything else. As said above, set it up in bios right off the bat.

2. VX is the one that is not as good. HX is the good one.

I've built a budget system on the IP35-E and got a decent OC using stock cooler with it.

1. The 2.1 volts is not an issue, you can adjust it in the bios. Also, the times are adjustable in the bios and the 4-4-4-12 will work.
2. Not sure about the Power Supply, but I picked a FSP one... there are lots of decent power supplies to choose from for about the same price.

there are problems with a very few Corsair HX/IP35 combos.
As of the other day Corsair had had under 25 cases reported - there are far, far more working together than not.

fordy9, where in that thread did it say so? The OP has a Pro that has a problem with HX. The last post says an E board is fine.
