What can I do with my system (Reasonably):

GA-P35-DS3R
C2Q Q6600 G0
OCZ Platinum XTC REV.2 PC2-6400 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-15
EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GTS 500MHZ 320MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3
Corsair VX550

I think to add air cooling: Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme with Yate Loon, or Scythe Ninja Plus REV.B ?

Thank you

My system isn't overclocked and I score 10202 on 3dmark06.

How much can I increase my score with OC?

Are they a big gap between my 8800gts 340 and the 8800gt 512? What's about the evga step-up program? Will I see better performance (significant to spent more $$$)?

Thank you

I can't respond to this thread without Evil thinking I'm bragging...

Anyways.. 3.0 GHz should be easily done with your board. Your score shiould increase quite a bit. I would get the Ultra Extreme + Scythe Slip Stream or Ultra Kaze.

Yes there is a huge performance different between the 320 and the 512... Ask Evil.

Why not the SFlex SFF21F?

How can I overclock temporarily wuth the stock heatsink?

Sflex fans are fine.

I wouldn't recommend OC using stock cooler though.

Using the stock cooler, you'd be able to force about 3.3GHz on that board.

The moment you even think about touching the voltages, upgrade cooling.
