im sorry are you build or buying this, it sound as if your buying it stock. Firstly if this is the case, consider build it very easy

secondly, i would go always choose the Core 2 system right now the only point of Athlon CPU is to upgrade from older Athlon CPUs

also instead of getting a 6750 see if you can get a q6600 this is a Quad core of similar price you will notice pormance gain in the long run, if not striage away. (see the THG article on paraelle processing)

Do you really need such a big PSU?
Are you planning future video card change?

Your RAM, 1GB (2*512MB) or 2GB (2*1GB)?
If not 2GB, I would go with 2*1GB.

Hi. I want a good PSU because i want a computer for several years... I wont change this video card in the future. The ram is 1gb kingston+1gb kingston. Thanks

The Intel system is the better buy, and will offer better future upgrade potential, with better performance scalability. You will want to be upgrading the video card soon, if you plan on playing the newest games, to a DX10 card with more memory.

The Intel System will be a nicer system.
The E6750 is a little faster than the X2-6000.

However, The E6750 uses much less power so it should run quietter.

Also, while you do not intend to OC the system today, the E6750 has a HUGE about of OC potential. This is something you may be able to do 1-2 years down the line instead of upgrading your CPU.

Both systems should have decent upgrade potential with the Penryn or Barcy both fitting into your boards depending on which way you go.

I like the e6750, and if you are going to be getting a new video card soon (i.e. a month or two later) then you may consider getting a 7600gt until you have the money for an 8800 or ATI equivalent.

Hi. I havent had time and tomorrow i will go to buy it. I think that i will buy the Intel system because the difference of price is very little although im thinking the posibility of buy a AMD X2 5200+ because has a good price and i would can buy a new hd.

E6750->113 libras
6000+->96 libras
5200+->73 libras

The NOX PSU 'looks' nice, what with the LEDs and modular cables and good looking specs but has anyone actually reviewed it yet? Is it a rebranding of another makers unit? I would not take a leap of faith on sucah an important component.
