finally got the courage up to lap my heatsink,
temps before lapping heatsink were
39/38/33/38
i lapped my 9500 hoping it would sort out uneven core temps
unfortunately it didnt, must have a concave/convex CPU
GOOD NEWS
even though i didnt think i did that good a job, couldnt tell if it was flat because the only stanley blade i had was used & couldnt find any really straight edge
my temps dropped a full 4 degrees
35/34/31/34 my hottest core was 61 degrees (prime 100% load)
NOW 57 degrees!
just need to get the BALLS to lap my CPU!
EDIT: i forgot, my northbridge also dropped 3 degrees 46 - 43
