Well im about to get a new video card and wanted to know if anyone knows which would be a better choice,,,Its going to mainly be a gaming comp and i ususally play with a 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 res. The choice im trying to deciding are 2x 8600gts 512, 1 8800 gts 320 or 640 ver. If u can give me any advice that be great!

if u cant afford the 640 meg version that would be your best performance option. The best bang for the buck however would be the 320 meg option. Dont even bother with the 8600 sli.

I was leaning toward the 640 myself...Do you think after tomorrow release of the 8800gt that the 8800gts 640 go down in price as rumors say it will?

600watt psu,
2gig ddrs 800 dual channel
athlon 64 x2 5200
Asus M2N-E SLI NVIDIA nForce 500 SLI MCP Chipset
320gig hd sata2

Is the psu an overkill for the 8800gts 640?

I am betting the 8800GTS 640MB version will go down in price tomorrow. Also, it is likely that you may want to go the the 8800GT 512MB. Early benchmarks are saying it will preform better.

The PSU is fine, but if you needed to go lower, you could.
