http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130347 thats 750gb for $129.99
a dual-layer blu-ray stores 50gb and is about 39.99
15*39.99=599.85
and you also need a blu-ray drive but if the movies came in HDD then you dont need a HDD reader.
bottom line is movies should be relased on HDD, even better you go to walmart select from a range of sizes (60,120,200,250,320,400,500,750,1000) and you pick movies to go on to the HDDs so for example: you pick a 60gb HDD and each movie was 1.5 gb then you could pick 40 movies. The best thing is that you'll never have to keep track of all those DVDs a 1tb HDD could store 714 standard 1.4gb movies!!!!. And what if you have only 1 1tb HDD? you could keep on going back and getting more movies on the SAME HDD!! This could expand to games and software think of all the trash it'll save!! Each movie was a different file so every file is a movie. CD's and DVD's will become obsalote. Whenever you want a new game or movie or software just go to any store and plug your HDD in then pick that from an online database then pay. every store would be the same price, have the same stuff.
