Just though I would post this VR-Zone Review of the 8800GT. Seems like a credible enough site to me. Not too long and we shall be seeing all the reviews though.

Thx for the link. Their credibility has been questioned before, but it looks like a pretty legit review. Did they really test crysis at medium details? If so, funny they mention all the DX10 goodness. Also I assume they used the UT3 demo, which (the demo) is DX9 only from what I know (they call it a DX10 shooter).

At least this link didn't had to be translated unlike the previous link someone posted. I think Nvidia has something up its sleeve with this card. Why release a $250 GPU that offers almost the same performance as their $500 GPU? Either way, if this review is true, all I have to say is I want a 8800GT!
Every stupid review that has come out has given it marks between a GTS and GTX. And yet the dolts cry about East Asian conspiracies and forged reviews.
If the GT doesn't score, on average, on AT LEAST equal to a GTS on a review by Anand or HT, I'll eat my shoe a la Tucker Carlson.
lol it comes out tomorrow, theres no way these benches are faked.
Looks AWESOME oc'd shaders, core to 700 and memory 2ghz, looks awesome!
Did anyone else see that the lineup for the pins next to the 7900gtx looked nothing the same lol. I really could only match like 2 together, idk what that was about.

I was wondering the same thing but figured I was the idiot and didnt ask questions. Glad to know I wasnt the only one who thought something strange about that statement
now as soon as I can find an order link for the evga over clocked version i will be happy
Hmm my spacial perception must be off because they looked like they all lined up except maybe the one on the bottom right. You were talking about the heat sink clamp pins right?

I'm looking at the 6 screw holes. the top 2 (one lfet and one right) look like the same horizontal line on one, and slightly offset on the other. same with the left 2 screws.... slightly offset along a vertical line on one, and not on the other

Yes you are right, one to many brews this afternoon I guess. I just quickly pasted the picture in Photoshop and made the 7900 partially transparent and I could only get three holes to line up and it would be partially off the card if it was centered over the chip. Definitely a no go on that one; too bad that would have been nice to get a reuse out of the cooler.
Lol Idiots.....
Vr-Zone is situated in Singapore which is GMT+7! Stupid...
Meaning they are over 13 hours ahead.... of Central American Time..
Its already out here where I am... its already 4pm...
The main difference between the GTX/GT was when using AA & AF setting brought the GT down in FPS, but the GTX has a smaller impact on performance when using AA, I get me one 8800GTX in November.

Singapore is ahead!!? No S**t. At what point did I say I can't believe they have it early, or even that I thought they were in the same time zone? Don't worry, but I DID notice their timestamp on the article. I am just curious as to what time the US companies will start selling.
*EDIT* yea just saw various places confirming the 6am PST....... and now I go to sleep.

Does anyone find that the 8800gt performance is really puzzling? Because if you have seen the benchmarks, the 8800GT beats out the GTS. However Nvidia is going to be releasing a new GTS and so that in theory should beat out the 8800gtx quite nicely. Now that would make no sense for Nvidia because the GTX would be then be second in performance to the GTS. so it would go #1 8800GTS(revised) #2 8800GTX(old) #3 8800GT(new). SO, i think the only thing nvidia could do after the release of the new GTS with the GT die shrink and other tech, would be to release a new high end card so as to keep the 8800GTX as the top card.
yea that would make sense which leads me to believe nvidia would have thought of it and so should have renamed it 8900 or something. So perhaps they are leaving room for the 8900 at a later date.
The 8800GT review just got posted on the main page, seems pretty consistant, bouncing between the gtx and gts depending on resolution, favoring closer to the gtx in many cases.
