Intel Extreme Tuning Utility

I have been having problems with the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.

The black splash screen comes up and then nothing, it just sits there the program does not load fully.

Processor : i7 3930k
Motherboard : DX79TO
Extreme tuning utility : version 3.​1.​201.​5 worked earlier,now does not.
version 3.​2.​0.​24 does not work at all.
Both versions are stuck at the splash screen.

Bios version:0537

I have used the program before and it worked fine.

I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled the newest version available, but still the same problem.It is stuck at the splash screen.

Anyone else facing the same problems and are there any known solutions?
