Case fan

Just a quick question... Should the case fan (that's in the back of the computer) be blowing air in, or out? I just bought a new 80mm rear case fan because the stock one died, and cannot remember if these are supposed expel hot air out or intake cool air. There are no front intake fans to keep air flowing through, so should this back fan act as an intake fan to move air through my system? The removable side panel has vent holes, if that helps. Thanks.

If your case has a fan mount in front then it should be sucking air in (intake).

Try to balance the intake & exhaust.
