USB Flash Memory damage due a wrong cables conected

Hello All, please note I bought a New Desk Computer, I conected my USB flash to the front USB Port, after that the Flash just says wrong or failure conecting, not way to see, a friend told me due the internal cables were wrong conected to the board the Usb got damage, any one knows how to repair it ??, is there any solution ??, thank you, bye
