I've been waiting to upgrade for some time now and still trolling these boards gathering information and couldn't find the answer so sorry if this is a stupid question. I have a ASUS 939 board, will I be able to use a PCIe2.0 card or will I have to stay with the x16 cards?

Yes you can use a PCI-express 2.0 video card in your motherboard so long as it has a PCI-Express bus. PCI-Express 2.0 is backwards compatible. Although you won't gain the increased transfer rates that PCI-Express 2.0 offers, you will still be able to use the card. such an example would be the 8800GT. Hope this helped you. :)
