Installing spark messenger issues

I have been trying to uninstall spark messenger from my computer It keeps asking for a cd rom to remove. I have never installed it with a cd. when I do a search of programs on my computer its says spark is not found. I need to reinstall spark messenger but cant do it still this one is removed it causes the new download not to run. When I tried to install spark messenger it says this program is already on your computer install anyways. I say yes but then as i said it doesn't load. Any suggestion on how to remove this corrupt version of spark messenger?
