Im building an entry level dual core system for my parents to replace thier aging system. I was doing a bit of research on which cpu to buiy and descided the 4200x2 would fit thier needs and was within thier budget. But im not sure whether to go with the Brisbane or Windsor core 4200x2?? The only differance I can see is that Brisbane is a bit newer and build on the 65nm process while Windsor is built on the older 90nm process. So I would guess that the Brisbane is more efficeint and cooler running?? WHich should I get, Im not worried about overclocking. The cpu will be used with a Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H, 2x1gig Crucial Ballistix ddr2-800 and an Antec Earthwatt430.
Thanks

If you're going to overclock it, I would go with the brisbane. If you're not going to overclock, then get the windsor. At stock, the windsor performs SLIGHTLY better than the brisbane. I would personally go with the brisbane since it leaves headroom for some overclocking in the future if needed.
