*btw i just saw your sig, how the hell are u running ur cpu at that speed? what sort of cooling do you have? also what voltage do u have to use? and lol, did u have to loosen your ram timmings or up ur mobo voltages?? nb, sb etc?

1.27 BIOS setting is setting the VID.

1.24 is probably the actual voltage as read by CPU-Z.

Follow the Temp guide to calibrate and it should be fine.

the VID?

and if its 1.24 then.. that means i didnt change the voltage then lol.. so how on earth do i change the voltage?

You set 1.27 in BIOS, correct? If you did than the BIOS setting is NEVER WHAT YOUR WINDOWS SETTING IS. BIOS = VID. VID - vOffset = Windows Idle Voltage.

My voltage for this was something like 1.55vCore or something. I have a Thermalright Ultra120X with an Ultra Kaze. It's too hot to run that fast 24/7, it's a Benchmark OC. I run it at 3.6 GHz daily at 1.400vcore.

I didn't have to do much with my RAM, the board just got a bit more NB voltage (1.4).

Loud when it's turned up all the way.

I have a Sunbeam Rheobus that I run all my case fans off of and turn them up or down as needed.

nice, i just have the sythe s-flex fan.. so its alright. My max oc will probably be around 3.6 but i plan on leaving it at 3GHz for normal operation and games
