Yo, sorry for the nooby question, I know nothing about cpu fans.



I have an Asus K8v SE motherboard

I lost the stock fan and need a cheap replacement.

Will this work?

And a slightly related question.
All fans these days come with a strip of the thermal caulk stuff applied on them already right?

Should work fine, and yes the majority of heat sinks come with thermal grease.

But not all of them come pre-applied. Actually the only one I know of is the Arctic Freezer Pro.
