XFX 650i Ultra front panel wiring

Ok, so i built my computer for college and all was good. Now i Have a new roomate who wants me to use headphones. Well I jack into the front only to discover that the jack dosent work so I have to jack into the back creating neck and eye strain from a short length of headphone line. Today I cracked open the case and the manual to discover once again (I'm quite forgetful) that they did not include a wiring set up for the front panel headphone jack. My friend and I had to search for a good hour or so to find one last time but apparently it didn't work. Anyone care to help?

With some sound cards you have to disable the rear speakers to use the front Also double check the sound card software settings
