Bootmgr missing - laptop wont boot cd

I HAVE A TOSHIBA SATELLITE A215-S5818 LAPTOP AND THE MESSAGE I`M GETTING IS BOOTMGR MISSING:TRY TO DOWNLOAD AND REINSTALL THE DISC TO RECOVER THE PROGRAM AND IT STILL WON1T BOOT OFF THE DISC WHAT CAN I DO..CHARLES ..: :??:  PLEASE HELP.... :bounce:  :)

check the bios and set the first device to boot is the cd/dvd drive by default it's normally hard drive as first boot.

Hi,

Insert Windows Installation CD in to CD-ROM >> Select Language >> Repair your Computer >> Startup Repair >> Select Correct Option.. NEXT .

then Click on Command Prompt >> type "bootrec /fixboot"

Restart Your Computer.
