Am going to get a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester & install it on a MSI board, (no OC) want to keep it COOL, is the stock thermal paste any good (newegg CPU fan in 20 to 30 dollar range, not sure which one yet) or should I buy some good thermal grease ?

The OEM CPU does not come with any thermal paste -- that comes on the heat sink. The stock thermal paste on heat sinks is normally fine, but since it needs to be cleaned off and re-applied every time you remove the heat sink (for example, if you made a mistake in installing it), it's always a good idea to have a tube of something like Arctic Silver 5 around, especially since it's so cheap (less than $10).
