An mp3 player formatted problem!

One of my friends has a Touchmate MP3 player that as he says he has formatted it "as always",
but after formatting neither the mp3 player itself detects its hard disk nor the computer.

:sarcastic: However, the computer detects that there is sth connected to the USB hub but what it is...!?

You'll probably find the disk is formatted to NTFS, but needs to be FAT32 for the media player to work.

BTW: there is a Touchmate web site (touchmatepc.com) which is currently listed by Google as hosting known malicious software.

As I said he says that he has formatted it "as always" and that contains FAT32 too.
I have visited touchmate website but it didn't help.
