Flight sim combo

Will be building my first box which will be used for flight and racing sims. I would like recommendations for motherboards and cpu. I pretty much have the rest figured out. Like everyone,money is a concern although I am willing to spend to get what I want. The important thing is that the box be optimised for the Sims.

how much u wanna spend?? follow one of the many suggestion rigs on your price... The fact that u play sims makes no real difference to playing FPS.. Apart from adding a fancy joystick/wheel/pedal setup..
