Hey guys,

I just built a computer using the MSI P6N SLI Platinum LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI motherboard. I am having difficultly getting the case speaker as well as the HDD LED, Reset button to work. I can’t hear the POST which I am used to hearing on my other computer and I would like to hear. I tried reversing the cables and no luck. The only one that is connected correctly is the on/off switch. What am I doing wrong? Are these features enabled in the BIOS? I checked there and I didn’t see anything. I am using the LIAN LI PC-60USB B2 Silver Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case .
I double checked and tripled check the connections several times. Also, right now the system is empty, no operating system.

Can anyone please help? I would like to figure out this mystery.

Have you checked the manual, most of them usually have diagrams for the case/wiring connections. These options are not usually set as default in the BIOS, although many times you can disable the POST messags after the fact. Just thought I would ask...
