For all you server builders or administrators...I had a 73GB 10K drive fail in a server. Because availability of the 73GB 10K is very poor, I can only purchase a 146GB 15k. Can I replace it with a 146GB 15k drive? Will the faster and larger drive be backwards compatible? Is there a chance of data corruption?

The new drive should work fine (as long as its compatible with the controller) however, the extra speed and larger space on the new disk will not be used.
