BIOS Silent boot

I recently added 1 gb of ram to my computer. Now when i boot up a bios screen from american megatrends comes up with all this information. It never did this before. How can I get rid of this and just go directly to the log in screen. Also when I reboot it happens and i have to push F1 to continue and then I have to choose from which hardware I'd like to boot from, i.e. dvd player, etc. Can anyone give me any advise. Thanks

I would suggest putting the system back the way it was when it worked and asking someone who knows more about installing additional system RAM to help.

this is my second upgrade and I didn't have this problem with the first, so I don't think it's the additional ram that's the problem.
