Audio, but no Mic

After about a month of running I thought I had my new computer running the way I wanted it too. However, I had to turn it off and move it to another location. After un-muting the sound on my computer, my microphone on my headset doesn't work, but the headphones do. This goes for whether its in the front jacks or plug into the back directly on the motherboard. (Yes I'm using on board audio). I checked using another computer and mic and headphones work fine. Any ideas whats wrong?

I have the same issue. I have been doing a little research and I'm going to try setting the Front Panel Support Type in the bios to HD. It's currently set to AC97 and some threads have suggested that this is an issue.
