I have a Q6600 G0 with the stock hsf. If first changed the fsb to 300 which put me to 2.7 ghz. Temps remained good so then I moved it up to 333mhz which put me at 3.0. My voltage in the bios is 1.3xxish but in everest it reads as 1.23/1.24. Is this right?

My super pi 1m calculations jumped from 21 seconds to 17 seconds :D

Is that voltage correct?

Is 61 celcius at 100% cpu usage over time correct? It has proven stable.

Yes, it's called Vdroop and Voffset. The voltage you set in bios is the VID, the max voltage.

For your temps, at 100% load and only 61C seems a bit low. Download Coretemp to read your temps.

Yeah somebody told me to use everest with Vista x64. When I had coretemp it and everest were the same. On one freak occurance I did see 65 degrees but its usually at 61 max. Does that seam to low?

Well I can't tell you if your temps are correct because I don't know your cooling....

is it stock?

seems a little on the low side for 3 ghz @ stock, but If you're really maxing out all four cores then count yourself lucky

as far as i was aware the VID is the minimum voltage your chip needs to run stock.
have you got a high VID or something?
