I am about to buy the last upgrade for my dying beast. I will not do a full upgrade with new cpus right on the horizon, so I am going to get the best AGP card I can. I am trying to decide between two x1950pros from HIS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161082 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161071. I would like some opinions on those card please. If anyone has a better suggestion, please make it.

Also, I will be buying a new psu, since it will probably be necessary for these cards... and I can migrate it to my next full system upgrade anyway. Any recommendations for the new psu will be greatly appreciated. I am thinking of 550w-600w with 3-4 12V+ rails rated at 18amps each. This is sufficient, yes? I cannot seem to find a psu with multiple 12V+ rails rated above 18amps. Keep in mind, I would like to use this psu with my next full system upgrade (Nehalem)

thank you

Cancel this question guys. I have come to my senses. I will not be buying an AGP card, or any card this close to the holidays for that matter.

I will wait until the new Intel chips come out and buy a new cpu/pci-e board. THEN, I will buy a new vid card.
