Well, I'm making my first system after buying pre built computers for a few years and was hoping to get some advice from some PC veterans. My budget is £700 and below is my build I've decided on.

Case -- Thermaltake VA3000BNA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower
CPU -- Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.66GHz (1333FSB)
Motherboard -- Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Memory -- GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Graphics Card -- BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Hard Drive -- Hitachi Deskstar T7K500 320GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
Optical Drive -- NEC AD7170S Serial ATA 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter
Fans -- (2x) Akasa AK-183-L2B Amber Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan
CPU Cooler -- Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775)
Power Supply -- Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU

Well there it is. Anyone had these parts and had problems or is it a fairly solid build? Could I spend less in one area and more in another? Anything bottlenecked? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Agree with the above. Unless you are planning on SLi, a P35 board would be a better choice. Asus P5K, or Abit IP35 would also be good alternatives.

The rest looks very good.

Drop the 8800GTS and wait till the end of this month for the cheaper and faster 8800GT. Get a Q6600 or an E2180. The E6750 is too over priced for a dual core. Here is what the Q6600 will do to the E6850 so the E6750 is big losser at only $70 less.
