Can I buy a recovery CD for my Gateway?

Hello,

My house was broken into and all my Windows CDs were stolen. I have no way to put Vista back on my Gateway computer.
I'd buy a new Windows 7 disk but I have no operating system on the drive. I had loaded Ubuntu and now it has formatted the hard drive. What can I do? Can I get a replacement recovery CD?
