So I sold it to a friend for $200, Ive had it for 8 months. Did I act too soon? The guy I sold it to is lending me his 8500 for a few weeks till I wait out the new ATI cards and decide what to get.

I don't really think that. The 8800gt is sold out everywhere. It's pretty much $20-30 premium on most sites including newegg. $200 for a good card isn't bad if you don't want to pay $280-290 for a better 8800gt.

I wouldn't sell my 320MB GTS for less than $200 unless the 8800GT actually is widely available for under $250. A $250 GT is a better buy, but a $200 GTS still isn't a bad buy really. Alot of people would rather have a $200 GTS than a $310 8800GT SSC. I'm not one of those people, but I deal with them all the time. $200 is very often stretching peoples limit.
