Freecell sticking

Win 7 Freecell "sticks" The cards don't move when you try to move them. If you keep trying you get the message "freecell is not responding" or "problem with freecell executable". Could this have anything to do with a recent Norton upgrade? I have tried turning windows games on and off and it doesn't help. Maybe the dll is corrupted" If so, where can I get a clean reinstall?

The version of Freecell that comes with Windows 7 requires a video card and driver that can support Aero. If Aero isn't enabled on the system, Freecell works, but it's very, very slow.

I haven't had trouble before, and I'm sure Aero was enabled. How do I check?

I ran the Aero wizard and everything checked out ok.

If it's not Aero, I can't tell you what the problem might be. If you suspect the file is corrupted then you could boot from the install disk and select the "repair" option.

Thanks for your help. I think I've found the problem. My system had 4g of ram and now is showing only 2 g installed. Tomorrow I will see if reseating the memory will help. This laptop has had 1 motherboard and 2 hard drives replaced and it is only 1 1/2 years old. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL!
