Win7 and vista dual boot

I installed win7 on a seperate hard drive.vista was my original op. Windows boot manager highlights win7 on boot up, when I choose earlier version, <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe needs to be reinstalled appears. How can I do this? thanks

You will have to manually change priority of the hdd boot in the bios since both of the boot kernals are almost exactly the same. When your ready to go back to the other OS just change the other hdd back to where it was. Can't really do it otherwise unless you have it on a single hdd.
