Here, ClubIT Product - CORSAIR CMPSU-450VX, buy it. Do not succumb to the cheaper PSUs. This one should work for many years. It is not that large but it will handle your current needs easily. Do not continue to lament, buy the damn thing and move on.

Edit: When I, or someone else, suggests a component and links to a site that doesn't mean that you can't use Google and find it cheaper. Let us not get lazy.

In the past I was cheep when I came to PSU's, I thought they were all alike.
So when I bought parts for my first home build, I used the PSU that came with my enlight case, about a year later it died, so I bought another enlight PSU. It lasted about a year, so I went out to COMPUSA and bought one that was name branded. less than a year it died, taking one HD and the Motherboard with it.

A friend who makes a living at computers, told me to get PCPower PSU's.

After two more PSU disasters, I learned and started to buy PCPower PSU's

Be cheap with a PSU at the risk of spending more to fix it's failure.

Yeah, I have a PC P&C Silencer 610 $119.00 from their website. They are made by Seasonic. The Corsairs are also made by Seasonic and are also single rail. That 450VX is a good PSU.

That looks like the deal of the day. Seasonic built, single rail and cheap.

Basically a few sites have "Rated" Power Supplies.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 are considered very high quality PSUs.
Tier 3 are considered quality.
Tier 4 are iffy.
Tier 5 Power On at your own Risk.
