I have a Linksys WUSB54GC USB wireless adapter that constantly drops connection. I am using vista ultimate 64 bit and I know there are compatibility issues with this adapter.Any ideas on what to do? This I tried doing this (http://www.decimation.com/markw/2007/12/04/wusb54gc-and-vista/) but to no avail. Thank you.

Wow, is your post ever timely. I'm having the same issue. I just bought two of them. Both have the same issue.

At the same time of buying these, I bought a Linksys WRT54G2 wireless router that I was assured would work well together...not so much, at least not yet.

Do you also have the problem of when you add the extender onto the adapter that it doesn't work at all? When I use the extender, my PC doesn't recognize that anything is plugged in at all...I've tried both of them too.

Anybody out there have some help for us?

I don't have an extender for the adapter I don't think...But hopefully someone can help us out.
