I just put together a new gaming system. I have a question about my CPU cooler. I have the Zalman 9500NT For my AMD Athlon X2 6400+. I have noticed from other people posting pictures of thier rigs that have the same cooler having it positioned differnetly than mine. From this picture in my case you can see its pointing down towards the graphics card.

But from this picture from a review its facing towards the front of the case.

And this review as well

My question is, will the way I have my setup up cause problems for OC or Stability with overheating because of not having proper air flow, and also because its sucking hot air from the PSU as well. If thats going to be a problem i will fix it. I just need some advice from some people first.

Most people usually face the cooler towards the back of the case, as you have seen. This is because there's usually a case fan right behind the cooler, making the cooling better.

The way you have it set up isn't bad, and you shouldn't see any problems. There should be no difference in performance either.
