I was just wondering, if someone has a cooler for a GPU like 7series or
8series, would you be willing to take th eplunge and try to install it
on the 8800GT?

Would be great to know which ones work and which ones dont. I heard
supposedly tis got simular slot holes to 7900gtx, so I was looking at
this:

The one I want to see tried most though, is:

Im REALLY waiting to see news on if this works or not.

So if anyone has them on some others cards and feels like doing some exploring, it would be greatly appreciated :D

Its been made for 8800GT, so OBVIOUSLY its going to fit! Besides that cooler is insanely bulky and horrible looking.

If you don't want to bother adding anything useful please DON'T bother posting here at all.

If nobody wants to try it or cant then thats fine this thread will just die.

1.This is a public forum
2.Everyone is entitled to their own opinion
3.My post was at least as worthy as your attempt to have someone try something you are un-willing of doing
4.I didn't see the harm of putting that option out there
5.Grow up

For anyone else (who has an open mind) I found this review of a cooler I was considering:

I think it looks sexy :P

I recently bought a XP120 to mount on a graphics card ... ermm ... I think its too big lol

I would go for a zalman VF900? (I have one on one of my 1900GT's and it performs admirbly)

7900GTX/GT mounting holes are different to 8800GT holes

Try these:
