More Information

HI, I recently bought a C2D E6750 and p5k3 mobo with 2gigs ddr3, cooled by arctic cooling freezer 7 Pro and 4 fans in my Antec P182. I was thinking my temps were OK as the BIOS reported quite low temps the first boot (~19C) but then when I ran CoreTemp 0.95.4 i noticed the temps were about 38-42C. BEcause i have fan control enabled, and dont want the HSF to make too much noise, is there any way to fix the motherboard readings? I have tried SpeedFan for fan control but it doesnt work. ( my AC freezer Pro runs at about 800-900 RPM which is too low and i think thats causing the porblem).. THanks in advance....I have BIOS v. 0501 bt im nt too intent on updating BIOS - is there any problems with this version??
