I would like to be able to create short clips (usually < 5 min, preferably in either WMV or MP4 formats) from Blu-ray movies. I tried using the trial version of Aimersoft's Blu-ray ripper but it would not load BD discs that play fine in Cyberlink PowerDVD (though the ripper program did load DVDs).
I did a search on the forum here and most of the recommendations I saw were for programs that do a complete rip of a BD disc and don't let you choose a starting point and duration or end point. I don't think my hard drive or my backup storage device is large enough to contain a rip of a complete movie.
I don't mind shelling out $50 if there is no free application available that does what I want it to. If it can also extract audio tracks and/or convert video files to other formats, that would be even better.
Does anybody know of a program that would be of use?
Thanks for your help with this.
