I am building a new computer for video and photo editing. I need some ideas on 2 X 2 gb or memory to use with ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP and a Q6600 as I would like to be able to overclock this processor and the FSB to 1333 and want the best memory I can get for the money. This is my Selection for now G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail ...
I do not want to spend over 200 dollars on this memory and I do not like rebates. Can anyone tell me if this is good memory for over clocking and if not can you tell me some to use.????

To get a Q6600 to 1333FSB isnt hard but to run ram at 1:1 with that you only need 800mhz stuff so you shouldnt need to OC the ram at all.
Personally id go with
