Sometime when I play movie or any video, I have some green pixel in the video. Sometime they flash, sometime they change color to red, then back to green.
But sometimes, the video play perfectly, no strange green or red pixel flashing. It happend when checking video on youtube, playing video in WMP or VLC, or PowerDVD, or even in game movie (like intro movie).
Usually, theres like 5 or 6 green pixel. But sometimes, theres many more (20+). Never at the same spot, its like random.
Its really annoying.
I have an Sapphire x1950xt (soon to be 8800GT or the next ATI), on a SyncMaster 275t @ 1920x1200.
Last driver for everything. What should I do to end that ?
You never get this on the desktop? ever in a game itself? Any odd pixels when you enter your bios?
Sounds like drivers(you can try to roll go back a driver rev or 2....just in case they messed something up...) or video ram, but it would happen on the desktop then, since youtube is all cpu and not so much video.....
Nope, never on desktop or in a game. Bios is good, no strange thing. But its happening if I set a dreamscene video in the Vista Ultimate background setting.
Its really only happening when watching video. For exemple, Im watching an HD-DVD (V for Vendetta) and there is some green pixel flashing, and they looks like they following a pattern (kinda)
