The processor alone should run you that much. :O http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=qx6700&x=0&y=0
Toss in a GTX and that's a fantastic deal.

I don't know much about Vista, but wasn't the Ultimate Version the only one recommenced for performance? (I could be way off here, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

This makes me worry though:

***About Refurbished Dell Systems

All Dell returned systems are put through Dell's stringent production process again where they are completely refurbished and tested.

I think Vista should be fine, just make sure you get the right version. From what I keep reading on these forums the FPS gap is almost closed between XP pro and Vista. If the Dell can handle it, maybe add an extra 2GB of RAM. Most gaming machines I see w/ Vista contain at least 4 GB (RAM is pretty cheap anyway)

I'd definitely like to see Crysis in DX10 mode *drool*, but I have yet to purchase Vista. Just do a little research or asking around here and see if anyone has any gaming troubles with Vista Home Premium. (I believe the Vista 64 got good performance ratings for Crysis in another thread)

I sound like a kid lol...

Never had a state of the art pc before...playing Crysis,Call Of Duty 4 and Pro Evo 08 maxed out on a high def screen is alien to me...

I'm scared to do a 3dMark benchmark, lol. My new system runs great on max settings on all the games I've thrown at it so far, but I'm afraid to see what numbers I get and then want to upgrade (ie. spend more money!) :p
