I was able to get some duo core E2140 for a decent price.
My board will be Abit IP35E
The cpu does come with a heat sink and a fan
I also purchased a Cooler Master HyperTX cooler.
Which cooler should i use to get the cpu cooler?
Both coolers have some grey paste on the base, is that thermal paste?
Should i put on some Artic silver paste or that grey subtance on the two coolers are good enough?
thanks for your help.

If you aren't overclocking, then the stock hsf is fine. BUT, since you got a HyperTX too, it will be lightyears better than the stock setup so why not use it?

Definately remove the grey stuff that comes on the HyperTX and use artic silver instead. Use proper thermalpaste remover though, and follow one of the many guides on youtube if you have never done put artic on before.

Best budget choices of the week! I hope they make $500 mobos so those in new built forum will happily dish out $500 for a board & not even take full advantage of it. *cough* ASUS *cough*

The included thermal paste on the heatsink is ok if you aren't overclocking. If you are, you can still use that. AS5 will drop a few degrees tops. If you want to remove that, just use an old credit card to scrap it off, then a coffee filter + rubbing alcohol to remove the rest.
