Ok, so i have been looking at multiple VGA coolers that will fit on an 8800GT.

I have found the best cooler (or atleast the one that i want) for this card is the VF1000-LED by Zalman.

This heatsink WILL fit on the 8800GT. However, I think it would much more efficient to use the ZM-RHS88 with the VF1000-LED.

If anyone has any information regarding the compatibility of the ZM-RHS88 with the 8800GT. Please post it on this thread.

Thank you.

dude that stuff is way to expensive honestly go with the
ARCTIC COOLING Accelero S1 VGA Cooler - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835186016
and the
ARCTIC COOLING Turbo Module Sleeve Dual VGA Fan - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835186021

You will save around $50 dollars and get a better cooler

It doesn't say that the accelero is compatible with the 8800GT or even any of the 8 series cards. So unless you can find me a VGA cooler that will cool an 8800GT i am still going with my current decision.

Take a look at the Thermaltake Duo Orb or the Thermalright HR-03 and HR-03+ if you have the space. They will cool better than your option. Here's a link to some pictures but i bet you can find them on Newegg also.

Shop owner said there would be no problem fitting them.

That thermaltake DuOrb looked pretty nice, the only thing being that you can't control the fan speed. It uses a four pin power connector.

Hiya !

I think the RHS88 will not fit on a 8800GT since Nvidia went back to the old 79xx design. :pt1cable:

But it looks like Thermalright is using the normal small RAM-HS with the HR-03 GT. So I guess RHS88 isnt really necessary.

Well, the VF1000 + the GT should arrive this week, I'll let you know if it dies in seconds ;)

Kind Regards
