With a Vcore of 1.6v and ddr2 of 2.3v my amd 6000+ booted in vista and made it at least 5 minutes into othro's iterations.

sadly it only scored a 5.6 on my vista game score all the rest of my scores were 5.9. :(
This is on water (with an extra radiator)so it never got above 45c.

take that intel fanboysssss!!

Its still not that good compared to a core 2 duo though. Im not a fanboy, I just get whatevers best for the money regardless of company.

I don't keep up with AMD OC's but if it's a great accomplishment than congratulations.

If you think this is somehow "threatening" to Intel "fanboys" you might want to rethink.

my 2.2 GHz Opteron 175 is neck-snapping whip-cracking.
3.4 with a similar architecture sounds real good.

with a little extra wiring, you could rig an ammeter in
series with the power lines going to the CPU. it would
be interesting to see how CPU power consumption
goes up in an OC'ing effort like this.

Yes, in fact I believe we are whoeverhasfasterbetteraffordablepartsthanthecompetition fanboys :na:

Not to mention my E2180 @ 3Ghz(For $90) beats a 5000 BE @ 3.2Ghz I believe. Plus what good is the OC if all it'll let you do is take a screenshot of itself before it goes down?
