More Information

I searched for other threads on this and most pertain to getting HDCP compliant equipment. I am NOT replacing my projector and videocard to satisfy the paranoia of the movie industry. I intend to use my Blu-Ray ROM drive legally to watch Blu-Ray movies I purchase or rent. However, I have read that the ROM drives will show blu-ray in reduced resolution if you use any older non-HDCP equipment. I will not tolerate watching films in reduced resolution just because my perfectly good and very expensive projector hasn't been crippled with HD Copy Protection. I'm not trying to copy anything! Question is, how do I get around HDCP for my legal viewing of films I've purchased or rented in full resolution?
